Payment Terms

Plain-language summary. This page describes how ChristChant billing works today. It sits alongside the Terms & Conditions and will be finalised with them after legal review.

1. Subscriptions & renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance for a monthly or yearly period. A subscription paid by card renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. We email you before every renewal charge, and before any price change takes effect.

2. Payment processor

Payments are processed by Xendit, a licensed payment institution and PCI-DSS Level 1 processor. Card details are entered inside Xendit's own secure form. ChristChant never receives or stores your full card number — only a payment token, the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry date, which we use to charge renewals and to show you which card is on file.

3. Accepted payment methods

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB), e-wallets (GCash, Maya) and bank transfer (InstaPay, PESONet). Only cards can be saved for automatic renewal; card charges are verified with your bank through 3-D Secure. E-wallet and bank-transfer payments cover a single period and do not renew — we email you before that period ends so you can pay for the next one.

4. Currency & taxes

Prices are shown and charged in Philippine pesos (₱) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes, which are itemised at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fee; that fee is set by them, not by ChristChant.

5. Free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial of the Pro Sunday feature set. No card is required to start it and nothing is charged during it. When the trial ends the application drops to the free tier (a watermark on live output) until you choose a plan — it does not convert into a paid subscription on its own.

6. Changing plans

You can move up a tier at any time from your account settings. An upgrade is charged as the price difference for the remainder of the current period and takes effect immediately; your renewal date does not move. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period, and nothing you have created is removed.

7. Cancellation

You can turn off auto-renew at any time from Billing in your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the application returns to the free tier. Cancelling does not delete your account, your library or your data.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal charge is declined we retry it over the following days and email you to update your card. If it still cannot be collected the subscription lapses to the free tier; you can restart it at any time by paying from your account settings.

9. Refunds

Annual subscriptions are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee: tell us within 14 days of your first annual payment and we refund it in full. Monthly plans are not refundable once billed — cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the paid month ends. Billing errors and duplicate charges are always put right, regardless of the window. Approved refunds are returned through Xendit to the original payment method and take 5–10 business days to post. Full detail, including the fair-use limits and how to request one, is in the Payment & Refund Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these payment terms from time to time. Material changes that affect what you pay or how renewal works will be communicated by email before they take effect.
